Founded in 1957 by Alessio Calearo, Calearo Group has been a leader in developing advanced technologies for communications for over 50 years.

In 2003, in order to maintain its competitive power, the company opened a production plant in Slovakia then another one in Tunisia in 2009. The Ce.R.Ca., Calearo Research and Development Centre, was inaugurated in 2005 and quickly became the technological core of the company thus providing it with the most advanced technologies and research programs in collaboration with leading international institutes.

The need to maintain a high level of competitiveness after years of crisis in the automotive sector prompted the company to start a reorganization and optimization process of their overhead costs. Aware of the importance of the issue, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Massimo Calearo Ciman commissioned Expense Reduction Analysts.
