Founded in 2006, Tredy-fashion GmbH is a company geared towards women’s fashion and accessories. The business has a rapid growth every year, with 20 newly opened chain stores, and distributes women’s fashion mainly from their own production to 80 stores, 2 outlets and an online store.
In total, 390 employees work for the company. To keep control of costs alongside the strong expansion, Tredy-fashion GmbH commissioned Expense Reduction Analysts partner Katja Brockmeier to investigate the categories of telecommunications, energy and courier services and reduce costs.
In the category of electronic payment the company spent around 70,000 Euros per year.
As the company was very satisfied with the incumbent supplier, Expense Reduction Analysts electronic payments expert Hans-Martin Decker improved the prevailing conditions; this resulted in yearly savings of 16%.
Spending on telecommunications amounted to over 50,000 Euros per year. Expense Reduction Analysts expert Jens Biesterfeld recommended that Tredy-fashion GmbH change suppliers and optimised some of the existing conditions. The results for Tredy-fashion were cost reductions of 23% per year.
In the energy category, the company spent over 190,000 Euros per year on electricity. In order to find new cost-effective options, Expense Reduction Analysts expert Andreas Brünger defined the needs and launched a tender and achieved savings of almost 5% for Tredy-fashion.
Saturday deliveries were an important criterion for the category of courier and package. Therefore the company wanted to carry on working with the incumbent supplier. Based on this condition, Ilona Janssen, expert for courier services, negotiated terms that were already very good, and managed to further improve the current spending.
Manuela Mizkat-Schröder, Purchaser for Tredy-fashion GmbH shared her satisfaction about the results: “The collaboration with Expense Reduction Analysts went smoothly and was very professional.”
