It seems like only yesterday the Christmas decorations were being packed away but here we are, once again deep in the festive season, preparing for the big day of 2018.
Despite the various uncertainties in the world at the moment (don’t worry, the dreaded “B word” will not be making an appearance in this article), there is still a never-ending supply of festive cheer available, with many company Christmas parties taking place. We at Expense Reduction Analysts are not exception, having enjoyed our own party very recently, which was a great opportunity for our staff to celebrate with friends, family and colleagues.
Charity Raffle Organised by Fred Marfleet
In addition to delicious food and drink, our Founder and Executive Chairman Frederick Marfleet also organised a raffle, with a variety of fabulous prizes donated and up for grabs. The aim of the raffle was to help raise money for Demelza house, a charity based in the South East of the UK. Demelza provides specialist care and emotional support for children with terminal conditions and to their families. As a charity, they depend almost entirely on people donating the funds that keep their specialist services going.
As a result of our raffle ticket sales, we raised almost £250 which will be donated to Demelza.

There are of course so many wonderful charities out there and certainly amongst the ERA team, we have people with different charities close to their hearts for a wide range of reasons. As a business, we’re privileged to work with and help numerous charities and non-profit organisations, not just in the UK but all over the world.
Christmas Jumper Day
Whenever possible we like to do what we can to help, including today – 14th December, also known as Christmas Jumper Day! Our UK support centre is certainly looking festive, with a fantastic selection of Christmas jumpers being worn with pride today! We’ve even had international colleagues joining in to share the festive spirit. The point of the day though once again is charity. Given the range of charities supported by our team, we’ve asked each person wearing their Christmas jumper today to make a donation to their charity of choice. A few examples include:

– Kent Air Ambulance
– Save the Children
